The Stallion’s Stable of Thoughts and Experiences

How is everyone’s new year? Going well I hope? For those of you who know me personally, then you would know that I had to leave Kuwait early Sunday morning! Yes people I had to be at Kuwait ariport at 7AM on the 1st of January!

I had a wonderful, chill night having finger food and playing games then I headed home at 1Am to get some sleep before going to the airport! Woke up, did my thing then went to the airport, and flew out! Qatar Air;ines to Doha Qatar! The flight was short and sweet and I was asleep the whole time! Even before take off! Got to Qatar and was shocked at how bad their airport was and how horrible the ground crew’s service was! I don’t think I will fly to Qatar anymore! I have to admit their service within in plane was amazing though! Who out there is an American Express Gold Card holder? For those of you who are then you know you can use the First Class Lounge at any airport! BUT… there is one exception… you CANNOT use the card to enter the First Class Lounge at Qatar Airport! Crazy huh!?

Anyways, what was supposed to be a 50 minute transit turned into a 3 hour lay over! FINALLY, we leave Qatar and off to Sudan we go! YES PEOPLE! YOU READ IT PROPERLY! I DID SAY SUDAN! P I wasn’t expecting to come to a place that was still 34 degree Celcius at this time of year! The weather here is AMAZING! The view from my room is breath taking! I wanted to post a few pictures but I couldn’t! Reason for that is cause I don’t have access to the internet using my laptop and my flashcard doesn’t want to hold any new files! Everytime I add a new fil to the flash disk it says it’s on there and I can access the files but as soon as I take the disk out of the USB slot and put it in the same slot or different slot I cannot access the files anymore cause they are not there! Wierd huh!?!?

Arrived in Sudan 3 hours late and waited in the VIP lounge at the airport for another 2 hours before leaving! We left without our bags! We got to the hotel, checked in and about 15 minutes later we get the bags! I unpacked, showered, got dressed then had the chaufer drive my manager and I around the place and give us a short tour! We got back to the hotel and I passed out! Next day we went to the organization’s HQ where the meetings are being held and spend all day there preparing! We got into the office at 9AM and didn’t get back to the hoteltill 6PM! I showered and went out to dinner at 8PM and had some amazing fish! The fish here tastes great! Got home at 1AM and passed out immediatly!

First day of meetings was ok! Had to go through some rough sessions but all-in-all it went well! meetings started at 11AM and ended at 3:30PM but work for me started at 9AM and ended at 5PM! After relaxing a bit and taking a shower I am back in a different suit waiting for dinner to start!

I was told I can bring my laptop down to the business center and connect using my laptop!
