Despite having a PS2 in my room, I rarely use it and I’m not into console games unless I am really in the mood! While reading the Financial Times I fell upon an articles called “Sony Sidelines PS3 Mestermind”!
I would like to know what your take is on this situation!

“Sony has taken a big financial risk investing in the PS3, and according to some estimates the company will still be making losses on the console for some years. Recouping that loss will depend on Sony’s own ability to make popular games, and to nurture close relationships with third-party studios.”
They said something very similar when they launched the PS2 and now look at them. This kinda thing will only bring in money, sooner or later.

I could be completely wrong but I think it’s coming out in May, although there’s a version you can get now that doesn’t play PS1 or PS2 games. I think that’s pretty pointless since there aren’t any PS3 games out so you can’t really do anything with it at the moment.

Fonzy : As per other sources I have read there are major issues with the PS3 and some aren’t fixable! What’s your take on that? Do you think it will still be ok or will people start going to Microsoft for the Xbox 360?
Black Widow : Nice to see you on here again! There are some sold in Kuwait that play any PS game! Kuwait is the first place in the Middle East that actually sold the PS3 but as usual they are way over priced and will stay that way cause people here are willing to pay!

well uhmm…hmmm…I played with the PS2 before but I have no knowledge of it…I shouldnt even be commenting but its a habit to at least say something on the comment section of each blog I visit

Well you can’t count Kuwait when it comes to technology because everything is illegally imported/downloaded. :p Movies and such…

Dont think it will affect anything at all, why you ask becuase here in Kuwait every home will have 2 PS3’s as soon as Winning Eleven is out
and we know it
On the other hand every console will have diffuculties at launch look at microsoft it took them 5 months to produce usable Xbox360’s after launch it is just a hurdle for every console maker and Sony aint no fools.
And having sole monopoly on Metal gear 4 which will be the last will only increase it sales
I think ima convince some guys so Wii can play in the diwaniya

Dont think this will effect anything really just cuase someone decided to take a higher position does not mean he will withdraw completely from what got him to that position in the first place.
Right now we can afford to get all 3, but its either all 3 or one big ass plasma so you can enjoy playing these consoles we have a DILEMMA!!!
Damn HDTV thingy being forced on us like that…
